Anne S Crossey

Anne S Crossey is a ​painter living in West Cork, Ireland. Her academic interests profoundly affect her work as does the beautiful, rugged and wild landscape around her. Anne writes about philosophical issues, often about the importance of error and uncertainty, and how 'not knowing 'creates a living process of learning through discovery. She describes her own work as a catalogue of mistakes that eventually take on a life of their own and become something else- either that or they join the ever-increasing mountain of abandoned paintings that she might someday return to. Anne's first book, The Cloud of Unknowing- Book One' was published in 2015.
